History
Yamamoto joined Johnny's Entertaiment at the age of 12 along with fellow MAD member Eda Tsuyoshi. His first junior unit was ABC Jr. before joining MAD in September 2005. He was also part of Arashi Kumi, which was the name given to the group of juniors chosen to back dance for Arashi. He is seen mostly in the old Ya-Ya-yah show and Shounen Club before his transfer to M.A.D. He has a younger brother, who also audition for JE on the Ya-Ya-yah show but quit before becoming an official Junior. Yamamoto also goes to the same high school as Tamamori Yuta of Kis-My-Ft.2.
On November 2007, Yamamoto was chosen as a member of Takizawa Hideaki's special project, a unit lead by M.A.'s Yara Tomoyuki. The future of this new unit is still unknown but the unit did put together a music video, which was announced during the Christmas Special episode of Shounen Club. The name of the unit is Butoukan and the music video is called NOW AND FOREVER.
