'Yakusoku wa Iranai is Sakamoto Maaya's debut single. The title track was used as the opening theme for the anime Vision of Escaflowne, in which she also voiced the character of Kanzaki Hitomi. Yakusoku wa Iranai was also featured on Grapefruit, Maaya's first album. The single reached #44 on the Oricon charts.
