License

Should have linked to this page in the footer instead of directly to the cc-by-sa 2.0 license, and then said like many free software projects: "you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the x License as published by the x Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version." --Pmsyyz 00:08, 8 April 2006 (JST)

Yes but the creative commons method involves computer readability as the 3rd prong of its license system, and by copyrighting every page with a link to here that auto detection would have failed. If you search Yahoo for CC licensed pages this wiki will be included in the list because of that link at the bottom, by doing what you are suggesting we would not be in the free content listings and I consider those listings more important than the flexibility of changing the license. --User:Womby(Talk)
