Wiki.theppn:Infringement Notice

From Wiki.theppn

Pretty much the entire "Manga" page is lifted from a three-part article I wrote many years ago for Animerica, and which can be read on my web site at http://matt-thorn.com/mangagaku/history1.html. This must be one of the most plagiarized pieces in the world of Internet anime/manga fandom. --Matt Thorn

Our First Copyright Infringement Notice

List of infringements from Encyclopedia Idollica, now we know why the pages appeared to be subject to vandalism.

On the Onyanko Club page:

The entire "history" is taken directly from my website. The "reunion" part
is also take from my website (in my old updates page). I suspect the
membership roll call and the discographies are also copied, but that's more
difficult to prove.

On the Asaka Yui page;

The entire "biography" is also copied verbatim from my website.

And on the Kokusho Sayuri page:

The first 3/4 are also copied from my site. From "Onyanko Club member #8.
Although the Onyanko Club members all had ..." to "...Club on her song
Valentine Kiss, her best and most popular song."

Nitta Eri page:

The "information" is almost entirely plagiarize from my website. From "One
of the more prominent Onyanko Club members, Eri produced several hit..." to
"nostalgia movement. Eri was the last to exit the stage at the Onyanko
Club's Final Concert."

We should not be copy pasting content, I will go through the pages referenced here and delete the relevent sections, one thing to keep in mind when referencing other sites, facts are not copyrightable, creative work is. copying a list of members and graduation dates is fine but biographic embellishments should be left behind. --Womby 12:50, 16 Apr 2005 (JST)
