VALON a joint single between Ilmari of Rip Slyme and Salyu released under Warner Music Japan label. Two months later the single was re-arranged and released as Salyu's debut single, VALON-1, under Toy's Factory label. The title, Valon, is believed to have come from the Finnish word "Valo" meaning "Light". Originally this song was titled as "M-1" when sung in lives by Salyu. This song reached #12 on Oricon charts and charted for eight weeks. In it's first week it sold 13,386 units, and in it's second it sold 6,156 (where it was ranked #30 on the charts); making a known total of 19,542 copies sold.
