VS is former day after tomorrow vocalist misono's debut as a solo artist under the avex label. The single's title is pronounced 'Versus'. It was used as the Tales of the Tempest theme song. An interesting thing about this release was that this was relased on the same day as Do As Infinity's former vocalist Van Tomiko's first solo release, the album FAREWELL. This single reached #4 on Oricon charts; strangely the same position that misono's sister, Koda Kumi, held on the album charts for that week with her album BEST ~second session~.
