Information

U-ka saegusa IN db started as solo effort by Saegusa Yuuka. The first three singles were all featured in the anime Tenshi na Konamaiki, but that failed to bring about much publicity. The hit single, however, came in October of 2003. Kimi to Yakusoku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho Made was used in the Japanese animation Meitantei Conan and was able to crack into Oricon's #8 spot. It was around this time that Iwai Yuichirou, Kurumatani Keisuke and Oyabu Taku officially joined the group, thus becoming a four-person band. The band's popularity has been increasing steadily which prompted them to set up a fanclub named "qp". U-ka saegusa IN db mainly plays ballads and faster, more upbeat songs, though they're not geared towards dancing.

On June 6, 2007 they released a 2-disc best album, to commemorate their 5th anniversary since debut.
