Information

The VOICE is KOKIA's 6th original album. It was released after two singles, Follow the Nightingale (game Tales of Innocence's opening theme song) and the special Niigata Earthquake tribute single Watashi ni Dekiru Koto (the single's B-side, Lacrima, is also featured on the album). Interestingly, KOKIA's single Tatta Hitotsu no Omoi which was released a month prior to the album's release does not make an appearance on the album.

Like aigakikoeru before it, a European version will be released (this time later than the Japanese release by six days instead of six months beforehand). Watashi ni Dekiru Koto did not feature on this version, and instead the B-side to the Follow the Nightingale single, say goodbye & good day (game Tales of Innocence's ending theme song) is the European version's bonus track (sold through Wasabi Records).

Ave Maria is a cover of the Vladimir Vavilov aria "Ave Maria by Giulio Caccini". everlasting is a song sung entirely in English.

In the original press releases about the tracklist, the song Gomen ne. had a different title, Kotoba ni Shinai to (言葉にしないと; If I Don't Say It with Words).
