Information
Takeuchi, like many other well known juniors, joined at the age of 12, along side Kis-My-Ft.2's Fujigaya Taisuke, A.B.C.'s Tsukada Ryoichi, NEWS' Masuda Takahisa and KATTUN's Nakamaru Yuichi, Akanishi Jin and Kamenashi Kazuya. His first unit was B.A.D., where he met Koyama Keiichiro and Kato Shigeaki, with whom he moved with to other units such as B.B.A. before being picked as a member of Domoto Koichi's project, J Support in October 2001. The unit, which was later renamed to K.K.Kity, brought new faces along with old ones. Along side band mates Yokoo Wataru and Iida Kyouhei, Takeuchi was part of the roller and dance portion of the unit.
He often appeared in Shounen Club and the Ya-Ya-yah show along with his J Support group mates. In the end of 2003, Takeuchi went on as part of ITY after K.K.Kity was split up with the formation of NEWS. In March 2004, he joined up with fellow MAD member Kato Yukihiro in Junior Boys, after the formation of Kis-My-Ft.2. Even though he wasnt officially a part of Kis-My-Ft 2, he was featured with them alongside Kato and even performed with them in early 2005.
September 2005 brought yet another new unit as Takeuchi was transfered to M.A.D.. As M.A.D. is a dance unit, Takeuchi performed in many tours and performance in Shounen Club as a backdancer to debuted units, and also in musicals such as Shounentai's PLAYZONE.
