Stop the music is the seventh and last single for SUPER MONKEYS and Amuro Namie under the Toshiba EMI label. Amuro Namie would move onto avex trax; while the four leftover members of SUPER MONKEYS would form the group MAX, also on the avex trax label. The title track is a Japanese cover of Eurobeat artist Sophie's Stop the Music. This single reached #4 on the Oricon charts and sold 528,160 copies.
