Songbird is Kokia's first album, released under Pony Canyon. It features her third single, Arigatou..., though other previous singles such as Ai no Field or Tears in Love don't feature at all. Even her debut single, Aishiteiru Kara, only features as a remixed version. Two songs from this album, I catch a cold and Shiroi Yuki, were featured in the popular Chinese drama At the Dolphin Bay's soundtrack.
This album did not chart on Oricon's top 100 albums chart.
