RAINBOW is the fifth album released by Hamasaki Ayumi. This album was the first since A Song for XX not to reach the double-platinum status. This album featured Hamasaki's first use of English, and like I am..., featured more CREA songwriting/composition. Free & Easy almost broke the string of #1 hits, but it eventually claimed the #1 spot on the weekly charts. Her second multi-A side single H became her fifth single to reach platinum status. Voyage had a short film titled Tsuki ni Shizumu to promote it. A year later it was released in DVD Audio format but only the first (that was not included in all the album copies) track was available in 2ch and 5.1ch version. The hidden track more than starts at 5'15 and the song independent stops at 5'13. It is difficult to hear the break between both songs. This album has sold 1,858,000 copies in Japan and more than 2,750,000 copies throughtout Asia.
