Pray is Tommy heavenly6's 5th single (Kawase Tomoko's 13th solo single). The song Pray was used as the first opening theme song for the anime Gintama. The single was released in two versions: a CD+DVD first press version (featuring stickers) and a regular CD only version. This single reached #10 on Oricon charts and charted for 13 weeks; making this the most sold single from Heavy Starry Heavenly and most sold Kawase Tomoko solo single since Love Is Forever/Wait till I can dream in 2003.

Disambiguation

- Pray (TV Version)
- Found on the Gintama Original Soundtrack as track #2, This is the version played during episodes of Gintama. The song is exactly the same as the regular version, except that it is only a shortened clip version.
Music Video
The PV for Pray was directed by Seki☆Ryuuji. It features two Tommys: one with a hat who uses a samurai sword to attack enemies (leading a flying ox-drawn cart) and another who is inside the cart, dressed in a kimono. The music video is supposed to be in the same style of Gintama, and is set in Edo-period Tokyo.
