Sang Eun first made her appearance singing the duet, "Our Story" with Moon Hee Jun, on his first album Alone.
When Shinvi debuted, Kpop fans noticed Sang Eun's vocal talent. Because of similarities in their voices, Sang Eun was often compared to former S.E.S member Bada and the group as a whole was sometimes compared to S.E.S.
After the disbanding of Shinvi, news about the former members has been sparse. As of 2004, Sang Eun was seen in a magazine as training for stage musicals. She joined M.Boat in 2007 and has released 3 singles since.
