MY STORY is Hamasaki Ayumi's sixth album. It has a more rock vibe than her other albums; the only other album with pop-rock influences is I am.... It was released with four different covers for the CD+DVD version. This album reached #1 on Oricon charts and charted for 43 weeks. It was re-released a few months later as classical version; entitled MY STORY Classical (conducted by Sado Yutaka). Because it sold 1,131,776 units, it became the #7 album of 2005. To date this album has sold 1,132,444 copies. MY STORY have sold approximately 1,700,000 copies throughout Asia.
