My dear friend is a song released by Aoyama Thelma. It was used as the Fuji Terebi anime Shion no Ou's ending theme song, as well as the Terebi Tokyo show Ryuuha-R's opening theme song. Originally, it was announced as her second single on Aoyama's official site, to be released on December 5, 2008 and featuring four tracks (the title track, an untitled B-side, a remix of My dear friend and the instrumental). However, plans for this were cancelled and Soba ni Iru ne was released as Aoyama's second single in January 2008. My dear friend is featured as track #2 on this single.
Music Video
A music video was released to PV channels before the cancellation of the single. It features a combination of close-ups of Thelma singing against a grey/brown background and shots walking outside on a fine day.
