Matsui Ryo (松井亮) is the guitarist and occasional composer for the band the brilliant green. He debuted under the name meister in 2004 as a solo project, and has only released a single album. He also produced YeLLOW Generation's song Tritoma.

His song above the clouds is a collaboration with singer songwriter Bonnie Pink.

On July 29th, 2003 he got married to a designer of silver jewellery.
