Marunouchi Sadistic is a song written, composed and performed by Shiina Ringo. Out of the three bands that Shiina formed to play instruments for her on Muzai Moratorium, this song was performed by Zekkyou Solfège. This song is also known by its demo version, which is widely circulated around the Internet. It was originally titled A New Way to Fly, and featured borrowed lyrics from three Stone Temple Pilots' songs (Seven Caged Tigers, Adhesive and Tumble in the Rough).

The finished, Japanese version features many references to places in Tokyo (such as Ochanomizu and Ikebukuro), as well as music references (Shiina's Rickenbacker guitar, as well as BLANKEY JET CITY vocalist Asai Kenichi (and his guitar; a Gretch). The song also referenced Shiina's part-time job as being a pizza girl.
