Living Daylights is TWO-MIX's nineth single. This single sold 70,000 copies {according to Oricon and reached #16 on the charts. Track 1 was used as an ending theme for NBA Fast Break. Track 4 is the instrumental version of a shorter cut of Track 2, which was too long to fit on the CD in its full form. Both Track 1 and 4 have been used in commercials.
The original lyrics for "Living Daylights" were written for an episode of the comic book series Detective Conan, in which TWO-MIX was featured as special guests (vol. 15, Files 4~6) . This single was produced to coincide with the animated version of the same episode (#81 on 1997.11.10; #82 on 1997.11.17). The lyrics and melody of "Living Daylights" on this single are slightly different from the version used in the show. "Break" was used in the concert scene at the end of the second episode.
