Information

Kuroi Namida is Tsuchiya Anna's fourth single, and was used as the third ending theme song to the anime adaption of NANA. While all previous Nana-related releases featured Tsuchiya under the pseudonym "ANNA inspi' NANA (BLACK STONES)", this was slightly changed for the second single, becoming "ANNA TSUCHIYA inspi' NANA (BLACK STONES)". The single was originally planned for a 2007.01.17 release (the same day as OLIVIA's The Cloudy Dreamer mini-album) but was brought forward to 2007.01.10 (presumably due to the massive amount of releases in that week). The song was be broadcast on the anime from 2006.11.08 onwards. The B-side JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH (a Depeche Mode cover) is used as the Nissan March CM song, and the B-side I'm addicted to you is used as an insert song for the NANA anime.

Disambiguation

There are three known versions of Kuroi Namida to be found in Tsuchiya's discography. These include:

Kuroi Namida
Found on the Kuroi Namida single as #1, album ANNA TSUCHIYA inspi' NANA (BLACK STONES) as track #6 and also on the NANA BEST compilation album as track #6. This is the version set to the PV.
Kuroi Namida ~deep sadness version~
Found on the Kuroi Namida single as #4. This version is different to the electric guitar-based standard version, and features verses filled with postly strings and piano, followed with a heavy sounding chorus. This version was arranged by CHOKbich and had strings performed by Gen Ittetsu Strings.
