Kiss Me Good-Bye is the third single released by Angela Aki, and was used as the theme song to the game Final Fantasy XII. Originally Kiss from a rose, a cover of the Batman Forever ending theme song performed by Seal, was planned for the single as track #3. However, it was later changed to a cover of Procol Harum's song A Whiter Shade of Pale and renamed 'Aoi Kage'. Kiss from a rose would later appear on Angela's fourth single, This Love. Kiss Me Good-Bye is the Japanese version of the song, whereas Kiss Me Good-Bye (featured in FINAL FANTASY XII) is the English version. Both versions have different arrangements to them. The first press of the single included an exclusive DVD, which included the PV for the song. Also included were stickers of the main Final Fantasy XII characters. This single reached #6 on Oricon charts, and has so far charted for six weeks. Because this single sold 68,968 copies in 2006, it became the #134 single of the year.
