"Kingdom" is the sixth studio album released by Koda Kumi. The album was be released in three versions, a CD+2DVD, a CD+DVD, and a CD Only version. The first DVD is a promotional video collection disc that is about 70 minutes long. The second DVD is Kumi's "PREMIUM LIMITED LIVE IN HALL IN YOKOHAMA ARENA" concert. The complete album leaked on 26th January, 4 days before it's official release.
The song "Black Cherry" is a full version of "INTRODUCTION" from her fifth album "Black Cherry" (much like the Introduction from "BEST ~second session~", which was a short version of "Get It On"). The song "Amai Wana" was used as Honda's "ZEST SPORTS" CM song and "Under" was used as VISE's "KOSE" CM song.
First press editions of the CD+2DVD came with the following: a poster, a cardboard slipcase, a photobook of "Premium Limited Live In ll", three stickers (one CD sized sticker of each album cover).
Kingdom has been certified triple platinum by RIAJ for shipment of 750,000 copies in Japan .
As of 6.16.08, Kingdom is listed as the 7th album of the year by Oricon.
