Biography

Jung Nicole is a member of KARA. She is also the second youngest member of the group. Nicole does most of the raps in their songs and writes the English raps in their songs. She was born in Korea, but moved to the US when she was still a baby. She and her family resided in California for most of her life. When Nicole began to train under DSP Entertainment, they headed back to Korea to make it happen. Then she became part of the Korean girl group, KARA. Nicole knew Korean, but she was not as familiar with it as much as the other members of KARA. The other members made it their duty to teach her more Korean. Han Seung Yeon mostly taught her Korean, but would also tease Nicole by telling her the wrong words in Korean. Jung Nicole is currently coping with former member of KARA's, Kim Sung Hee's, departure from the group as are the other members.

Moved to Arizona when she was six, then to California.
Her mother stays with her in Korea.
Wrote the rap lyrics for KARA’s first album.

Likes writing in English and asks fans to do the same.
Park Gyuri always take care of Nicole since she’s so fragile and Nicole loves Gyuri so much. Nicole usually calls Gyuri “Omma” (meaning ”mother”) but it’s hard for fans to tell who Nicole is closest to.
When Nicole gets sick, Gyuri often takes the role as a mother.
On an episode of Show Survival, Gyuri cried after their performance, due to her outfit's malfunction, thinking they would've failed the voting, Nicole was the only person who went over to her to hug and comfort her. (Seungyeon was the first one to hug her)
Nicole is the strongest member in KARA. Because she's a very religious person, aside from that, she wanted to help her Mother, so she tells herself she has to be strong and positive always.
