I BELIEVE is the second single released by Kahala Tomomi. The title track was used as a theme song to a commerical for '96 Minami's JOY TO SPORTS. It was also used as a campaign song for FM FESTIVAL '95. The single reached #4 on the Oricon charts and sold 1,028,490 copies. I BELIEVE won many awards, including Rookie of the Year Award (Japan Cable Radio Awards and Japan Record Awards).
Interesting fact is that former Morning Musume. member Kei Yasuda auditioned with this song for the Morning Musume. 2nd Generation Audition.
