Hotaru is Onitsuka Chihiro's 14th single. It was used as the film Last Game Saigo no Soukeisen's theme song. It was released simultaneously with her third live DVD, NINE DIRTS AND SNOW WHITE FLICKERS.

Music Video
There were two versions of this music video shot: a regular version and a movie edit version. The regular version features close ups of Onitsuka while she sings the song. There are three different close-ups: one where she wears white against a white background, one where she wears black against a black background with lights, and one where she wears red in an urban park. The movie edit features all of this, with different takes of Onitsuka singing the song (including more footage of Onitsuka in the red dress) as well as clips from the movie.
