"Hate tell a lie" is the sixth single released by Kahala Tomomi. The song was used for Kanebou Cosmetics "Bronze Love" CM song. The song features Tomomi on the Harmonica. The single reached #1 on the Oricon charts and stayed on the charts for a total of fourteen weeks.
Because the single sold 1,058,610 copies in 1997 it became the #14 single of the year (right behind Amuro Namie's "a walk in the park"). In all this single has sold a total of 1,058,610 copies, making it Tomomi's second best selling single.
The music and lyrics to "Hate tell a lie" were written, composed, and arranged by Komuro Tetsuya. Track #1 was mixed by Keith "KC" Cohen
