"Grapefruit" is the debut album released by Sakamoto Maaya. The music on the album was composed by Kanno Yoko with lyrics by Gabriela Robin. Yakusoku wa Iranai was used as the opening theme to the popular anime series The Vision of Escaflowne and tracks 5,7,8, and 10 were used as image songs for the series. "MY BEST FRIEND", is the English version of the song "Tomodachi", the b-side of the single "Yakusoku wa Iranai".
