"FREE" is the first single released by Sawajiri Erika under the pseudonym ERIKA after releasing one single, Taiyou no Uta under the name Kaoru Amane in 2006. It was released in two versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD only edition. FREE was used as the theme song for the SUBARU CM. As of August 2007, this single has been certified Gold by RIAJ.

Music Video
The music video for "FREE" was released on the DVD edition of ERIKA's debut single, FREE. It was directed by Yasuo Inou, and produced by Tadashi Shimizu. The overall art direction was done by ERIKA herself.
