Erika (photobook)

"erika" is a photobook released by Sawajiri Erika while she was still in the gravure modeling business. It was released on Erika's 18th birthday, April 08, 2004. The photobook contains photos of Erika on the beach, in the ocean, in lingerie, and riding a horse in the snow. It is like any other photobook a gravure model would release. This is the last photobook she released as a gravure model, and the last photobook she would release for almost four years. In a September 2007 interview she stated multiple times that being a gravure model was the one and only part of her career that she was embarrassed of, and regrets doing. She didn't like the fact that she had no control over any of the location, clothing, or design of the photobook. In August of 2007 she released the photobook ERIKA2007 which is the only photobook she was actually satisfied with. She had full control over every aspect.
