Information

"Depend on you" is the fifth single released by Hamasaki Ayumi, and is the lead-in single to her debut album, "A Song for XX". The song "Depend on you" had multiple tie-in's and was used as the opening song for video game Thousand Arms, and the ending theme song for Countdown TV. The single reached #6 on Oricon charts and stayed on the charts for a total of nine weeks. During it's first week the single sold 36,840 copies, since then the single has sold a total of 131,460 copies.

The single was re-released in 2001 on the 12cm format with extra remixes of the song. This time around the single reached #27 on the Oricon charts and only stayed on the charts for a total of three weeks.
