"Delightful" is the 15th single released by Suzuki Ami, but her first single released under avex trax. The single was released in four different formats: the regular CD Only version and the limited CD+DVD, CD+Photobook, and CD+Illustration Essay versions. Ami also released a full length photobook with under the same title on the same day. The song has been described as a heavily trance influenced dance track.

The single was well promoted by avex trax, and even reached #2 on the Daily Oricon charts. The single ended up reaching #3 on the Weekly Oricon charts and stayed on the charts for a total of twelve weeks. The single sold 41,936 during its first weeks sales and has since sold a total of 97,218 copies. Since the single sold 97,218 copies in 2005 it became the #106 single of the year.
