Cyndi won the avex trax's Taiwan contest sometime between late 2002 and early 2003. She was then brought to Japan where she was taught to sing and dance at avex trax studios. She was launched with her debut album "Begin..." in February of 2003. She's also an actress, starring in 4 Dramas, the latest of which is "Smiling Pasta". In 2007 Cyndi released her 5th album, "Magic Cyndi", on April 30th.
