Change Me is Wang Lee Hom's 12th Mandarin album. It is also his first album in two years. For this album, Leehom reportedly spent over $10,000,000 NT in production, and worked with Michael Jackson's Grammy winning record mixer Mick Guzauski. After Guzauski heard Leehom's "Love Love Love", he praised Leehom highly and said that Leehom's music deserves international recognition. Therefore Mick has reserved some time this year to help this "VIP" with his music and record mixing.
Leehom, who has spent his past two weeks in New York recording, didn't have a stable living environment. He had to drive around the state and the eating, clotheswear, etc. had to be handled by himself. Although it seemed a really difficult life, he really enjoyed it. Leehom's recording studio and Mick Guzauski's working studio is all in New York's Mount Kisco. Going to the mountain from New York City takes about two hours of the train and also a car ride to to the mountain.
Sometimes when Leehom is tired he will stop his car by the side of the road and take a nap. He will then take out his already set sandwich and take a few bites. He said that in retrospect, although it was a difficult life, he felt free. Sometimes wild deer will sense the smell of the car and will peep out to look at it, making Leehom's difficult life seem more meaningful.
