BALZAC is a Japanese Horror-Punk band which formed in 1992. They are considered by many to be the Japanese counterpart of American horror-punk band The Misfits, the two groups have even established a close relationship over the years. They also have 'Sempai-Kouhai' relationship with Dir en grey and Merry.
