Ashita is Hirahara Ayaka's second single. It was released in two editions; an original version in 2004 and was later on re-released in 2005 due to it becoming the theme song for the dorama Yasashii Jikan. The coupling track on the re-release was also one of the themes from the same dorama. The original single reached #19 on Oricon charts, and charted for 11 weeks. The re-released version reached #16 and charted for 24 weeks. The re-released version sold 109,578 copies, becoming the #94 single of 2005.
