Ashin, real name Chen Xin Hung (陳信宏), is a C-Rock/T-Rock/C-Pop/T-Pop singer best known as the lead vocalist of the alternative rock band Mayday. He is also the composer (along with Monster), the lyricist and the lead guitarist of Mayday.

Born 1975.12.06 in Taipei, Ashin was never an outstanding student, however, his artistic talent was exceptional. He was a student in his high school's visual art class and during that period of time, he became interested in music after joining the guitar club, where he met three other Mayday members: Monster, Masa and Stone. During this time, he began to compose his own music. The first song he composed was Hao Ju Hao San, which was published in Richie Jen's album Fei Niao (Flying Bird).

Ashin is well-known for his unique vocals and his insightful lyrics. He has composed and written songs for other artists, such Fish Leong, Wang Lee Hom and Twins. In 2006, Ashin wrote a book titled happy.BIRTH.day, a collection of "rock poems." Ashin also designs Mayday's concert shirts and fan's merchandise. In addition, he has also designed a perfume.

He is 180cm tall and weighs 74kg.
