Ash Like Snow is The Brilliant Green's 17th single, released in both limited CD+DVD and CD only versions. It replaced L'Arc~en~Ciel's DAYBREAK'S BELL as the opening theme song for the anime Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and was used as the opening theme song from January 2008 until March. It has been described as a 'hard rock number'. The CD+DVD included the making of the PVs Stand by me, Enemy, and Ash Like Snow under the title "2007 musicvideomaking". First press will include an Allelujah (from Mobile Suit Gundam 00) character ID card.

Music Video
The music video for Ash Like Snow was directed by Seki★Ryuuji and Tommy. It shows the brilliant green playing in a war field being shot at by pandas & bombs going off. It also shows Tommy riding in a futuristic motorcyle. It features many allusions to Mobile Suit Gundam 00, such as Haro, and the rifles that the pandas were using.
