"+1" is the fourth album released by Kimura Kaela. Its release comes almost a year after her third album, "Scratch". The first press edition comes with a DVD containing Kimura's most recent music videos, footage from her recent concert, a twenty-eight page booklet, and a special slipcase. The album was produced by Kimura Kaela. It is her first self-produced album.
The contains a total of eight new tracks and five tracks that were previously released. Three of the songs were singles: "Samantha", "Yellow", and "Jasper". The other two previously released songs are "No Reason Why" and "déjàvu", which are the b-sides from Kimura's "Yellow" single.
On its first week, the album reached #10 on the United World Charts. +1 has been certified platinum by the RIAJ.
